FAQ

Questions we can answer — and the ones we can't

We can discuss chemistry, testing, documentation, packaging, and storage. We cannot discuss use in or on a person or animal.

What does “research use only” actually mean here?

It means every item we sell is a laboratory reference chemical intended for in-vitro research and analytical work. The materials are not drugs, supplements, foods, cosmetics, or medical devices, and they must never be administered, ingested, injected, inhaled, or applied to a human or an animal.

Can you tell me how much to use or how to prepare a dose?

No. We do not provide dosing, protocol, or administration guidance of any kind, and our team is not permitted to discuss human or veterinary use. Requests for that information are declined, and orders may be cancelled.

Who is allowed to purchase?

Purchasers must be 21 or older and must be a qualified researcher or buying on behalf of a research institution such as a university, hospital, CRO, or analytical laboratory. A research-use attestation is required at checkout.

How is purity determined?

Each lot is screened by mass spectrometry to confirm identity and quantified by reverse-phase HPLC for purity as an area-percent value. Lots below the catalog specification for a listing are rejected rather than re-graded.

Do I get a certificate of analysis?

Yes. Certificates are lot-matched to the number printed on your vial and include the test method, dates, and issuing laboratory. A COA describes chemistry only — it is not a sterility or fitness-for-use statement.

How should material be stored on arrival?

Lyophilized vials should move to -20 °C storage, protected from light, promptly after inspection. Material in solution is materially less stable. Storage, handling, and disposal are the purchaser's responsibility.

Are these products FDA-approved?

No. Research chemicals are not reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or manufacturing quality. No statement on this site has been evaluated by the FDA, and nothing here is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Why don't you list metabolic-receptor peptides or other drug analogs?

A research-use label does not change what a material legally is. Peptides that are, or are close analogs of, approved or investigational human drugs are treated as unapproved new drugs regardless of how they are labelled, so we do not stock them. Our catalog is limited to synthetic peptides and labware supplied for in-vitro characterization.

Do you sell diluents, syringes, or needles?

No. We stock only glassware, pipette tips, and metrology equipment used for weighing, aliquoting, and analysing material at the bench. We do not supply anything intended to prepare or deliver an injection.

Who handles customs, import permits, and duties?

The purchaser does. Once material is delivered to the U.S. forwarding address you provide, any onward movement is an export you arrange and control, including import permits, customs declarations, duties, and any restriction that applies to a listed material in your own country. We do not ship to a forwarding address when we have reason to believe onward movement would be unlawful.

What currency are prices in?

All catalog prices, shipping charges, and refunds are stated and settled in U.S. dollars. Your card issuer applies its own conversion rate and any cross-border fee; we do not control or estimate those charges.

What is your return policy?

Because these are temperature-sensitive research materials, unopened vials may be returned within the window described in our refund policy when the seal and cold-chain packaging are intact. Opened vials cannot be returned.

I am outside the United States — can you ship to me?

We ship only to a mail-forwarding or freight-forwarding address inside the United States. Most of the laboratories we supply in Latin America maintain a U.S. forwarding mailbox and consolidate shipments from there. We do not ship directly across borders, and we do not act as exporter of record.
