Logistics
Shipping, forwarding & customs
We ship only to a U.S. mail-forwarding or freight-forwarding address you provide. From that address onward, the shipment is yours to move — and yours to clear.
Resumen en español: enviamos únicamente a una dirección de casillero o reenvío postal en EE. UU. que usted proporcione. La exportación desde esa dirección, los permisos de importación, los aranceles y el IVA corren por su cuenta.
How it works
From cart to your lab, in five steps
Everything we control ends at the forwarding address. Everything after it is arranged by you, which is how the shipment stays compliant on both sides.
- 01
Open a U.S. forwarding address
A mail-forwarding mailbox, freight forwarder, or U.S. address that accepts parcels on your behalf. Most of the laboratories we supply in Latin America keep one permanently and consolidate every purchase there — it becomes your delivery address for each order.
- 02
Confirm the forwarder accepts laboratory materials
Rules differ by provider. Some refuse powders, chemicals, or cold packs; others require prior approval, an importer code, or their own customs paperwork. Ask before ordering: once a label is generated we cannot redirect the shipment.
- 03
Place the order with that U.S. address
Checkout ships only to addresses inside the United States. Enter the forwarder's address exactly as they give it to you, including your mailbox or suite number, and complete the research-use attestation for the order.
- 04
We deliver to your U.S. address with tracking
Orders are prepared and handed to a tracked courier, typically 2–4 business days in transit. Tracking is issued when the label is generated, so you can confirm receipt at the forwarder.
- 05
You arrange and pay for the onward leg
From the forwarding address the parcel moves under your arrangements. Your forwarder or broker exports it, and you act as importer of record in your own country. We are not the exporter of record and file no customs entry.
Customs & duties
Who handles the border
Because the parcel leaves the United States under your arrangements, the import side of the transaction belongs to you. Here is exactly what that covers.
Importer of record is you
The purchaser named on the order is the importer. Classification, declarations, importer registration, and any permit requirement in your country are yours to satisfy.
Duties, VAT and brokerage are yours
Import duty, IVA/VAT, customs brokerage, handling, and forwarder storage fees are not included in product prices or in our shipping charge, and we never collect them. Pay them directly to customs or your broker.
Paperwork is always accurate
We issue a commercial invoice describing the goods as laboratory reference standards, research use only, at their true value. We will not undervalue a parcel, mark it as a gift, or describe its contents as anything other than what they are.
Check your own controlled list first
Some materials require an import authorization, and others are restricted or prohibited in specific countries. Verify the status of each compound before ordering. Where we have reason to believe onward movement would be unlawful, we decline the order.
No clinical documents exist
These materials are not drugs, foods, or medical devices, so we cannot supply prescriptions, medical justifications, or therapeutic documentation to support an import entry.
Border holds are outside our control
Inspections, delays, seizures, and returns caused by your country's import rules cannot be predicted or resolved by us. Refund and replacement terms follow the Refund & Returns Policy.
Packing & storage
How materials travel
Packing is specified for laboratory receiving: sealed, cushioned, temperature-protected in transit, and documented by lot.
Processing
Orders placed before 2:00 PM local business time are typically prepared the same business day. Orders that trigger a qualified-buyer review are held until that review completes.
Packaging
Vials ship lyophilized, sealed, and cushioned inside an insulated mailer with a cold pack. Cold packs are a transit safeguard, not a guarantee of continuous cold chain.
On arrival
Inspect the vial seal and lyophilized cake, record the lot number, and transfer to -20 °C storage protected from light. Report visible damage within 48 hours of delivery.
Storage
Lyophilized material stored at -20 °C is generally stable long-term; once in solution, stability is materially reduced. Storage and handling are the purchaser's responsibility.
Reminder
Handling guidance is chemical, not clinical
Our team can discuss purity data, lot documentation, packaging, and storage temperatures. We cannot and will not discuss dosing, administration, or any use involving a person or animal.
